Your Vitality & Tourism Management study career so far…

Share an insight of your ideas concerning your study career so far. Describe for instance your results, your struggles, doubts, achievements, wellbeing, ambition and perhaps changes in this ambition etc., your personal and professional development. Feel free to involve your personal situation as well. Basically, openly reflect on your VTM time so far:

I am really satisfied about me results so far. I passed everything in the first attempt. But I felt that it is hard to do other languages as well. That’s why I quitted the French lessons. No I have more time to focus on German, which I think is more important for tourism in the Netherlands.

In case of any insufficiencies, what do you think is/are the reason(s)? What actions will you take to (better) prepare for next exam period?

I passed every exam but I think if I want to obtain higher grades, I have to spend more time in studying.

Your future (VTM related) study career and plans…

Elaborate on what you think the future will bring for you. Discuss for instance what you will do after the summer holidays and where you will do this, alternative ideas when things appear not to be working out (forced to leave due to not obtaining the P for example, or problems with minor abroad approval), activities you will do that enable you to personally and professionally develop yourself even more, courses you still need to pass and how you will make sure you will pass these, perhaps personal situations positively or negatively affecting your wellbeing and/or study career and so on.

Would you like to be working for the VMT study association “Go Beyond” and work on the PR and Marketing, quality control or finances. Or organize international study trips, network meetings, seminars, alumni evenings, study related get together etc. for the study programme Vitality & Tourism management?

In short, describe what you think will happen during next (VTM) year(s):

This summer I am planning to go on a trip through East of Europe, for three to four weeks with a friend. I think this is a good experience and useful within this study.

Furthermore I am already working in the touristic sector what makes my study easier since I already have a little practical experience.

For the upcoming years in my study I am thinking of following a minor abroad and doing an internship in the Netherlands for an international company.
