Me as a VMT professional

This part of my portfolio will give a description of me as a VMT professional. Answered by the following questions:

 

Describe your dream job. What kind of job would you like to obtain in the future?

Explain why. Also explain how you see this job?

My future dream job could be two things: working backstage on big events such as Tomorrowland. Or to have a own hotel/restaurant. 

• Why working backstage? Because I like to organize and I think I have good organization skills. I think in this job you have a lot of responsibility since it is about safety and security of a large number of visitors. And of course a big amount of money and artists. 

• Why an own hotel/restaurant? Because I would like to have my own business and I am really in to the Hospitality business. This would also involve a lot of responsibilities. For example managing personnel and make guests feel at ease.

Does this profession suit you? Why?

Both of the professions would suite me since I am a hospitable person and I would be able to deal with a lot of responsibilities. 

 

What kind of practical experience within the Vitality & Tourism industry do you have already?

 I already have experience in the business field since I am used to be a waitress/bartender for four years now. Therefore, I think that I already have quit a lot of experience when it comes to costumer services and solving problems. For me, the guest stands central. I will do my best to serve them in the best way and if there is anything not as they wished for, the food for example, I will do my best to solve this. It is all about meeting the guest their expectations, and hopefully do it even better.

 

Vlog assignment: explain how you came up with the idea of your vlog assignment.

Explain why you choose this topic. Explain

In my vlog I will show you some of the things I experienced in China. Nanjing and Shanghai. For example, you see the students Ellen and Quella. They had to make an assignment which was about Supply chain management. The students had to buy a product and then write down the supply chain, the steps before a product ends in the supermarket, down. Therefore, they had to do some research and make a mind map.

I am very lucky to show you this, since, the experience of my trip to China did a lot to me as a person and as a student.
